Sydney is Australia’s largest city, and it is jam-packed full of entertaining things to do, beautiful weather, and so many picturesque locations to explore. You could spend weeks adventuring in Sydney and the unbelievable destinations that surround it, however, taking day trips is always the easiest way to see all the attractions of Sydney. Be sure not to miss out on the Harbour Bridge, The Opera House, Taronga Zoo, and Bondi Beach, just to name a few!

Not only are there so many entertaining activities to do in Sydney itself, but there are also so many beautiful places to check out that are located outside of Sydney. Take a day trip exploring Sydney itself

The city of Sydney is home to some of the most recognisable Australian landmarks, including the Opera House and The Sydney Harbour Bridge. They are located in the beautiful Circular Quay area of the city, which has gorgeous views of so much of what Sydney is famous for. After you have done some essential sightseeing of Circular Quay, head to the world-famous Bondi Beach. Known for being a laid-back surfing town with good vibes and tonnes of entertainment. Enjoy some fresh fish and chips and watch the sun set over the turquoise waters of the ocean, while relaxing on the golden sands of the beach.

Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains is a world heritage listed area, approximately an hour from Sydney. It is teeming with native Australian animals, stunning landscapes, and excellent hiking and walking tracks amongst the lush forests. While you are exploring the Blue Mountains, make sure to head to some of the historic townships in the region, as well as the incredibly unique rock formation, the Three Sisters. Scenic World is a fun way to experience the beauty of the Blue Mountains, by taking you on a number of scenic railroads, that enable you to see spectacular views of the region.

Hunter Valley

The Hunter Valley is full of rolling vineyards, friendly locals, authentic local produce, and gorgeous scenery. Not only is it famous for its delicious wine and food production, but there are also so many other things to do while you are in the Hunter Valley.
